Elsie M. Daglish, 92, of Youngsville, passed away early Monday morning, March 24, 2014, at the Rouse Warren Co. Home.
She was born on February 4, 1922 in Warren to the late Harry and Inez (Cook) Fink. Elsie lived a good, long life as a homemaker.
Elsie is survived by 2 daughters, Barbara (Tom) Smith of Tempe, AZ., Carolyn (Billsborough) Picarazzi of Falconer, N.Y., 1 sister, Mary Lou Lindell of Tidioute, Pa., 1 sisterinlaw, Mary Fink of Tempe, AZ., 1 grandson, Todd (Lori) Carter of Kennedy, N.Y., 3 granddaughters, Tracy (Duane) VanEvery of N.C., Kristin Smith of Tempe, AZ., Danielle Smith of Tempe, AZ., 10 greatgrandchildren, 2 greatgreatgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Elsie is preceded in death by her first husband, Ellis Billsborough, her second husband, William D. Daglish, 1 son in infancy, 1 brother in infancy, 1 grandchild, Troy Carter, 1 sister, Estie Hellman, 2 brothers, Howard and David Fink and her stepfather, Ernest Springer.
Friends will be received at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 North Main St. in Youngsville, on Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 121 p.m., at which time a Funeral Service will be held with the Rev. Marcus Briggs, Chaplain of the Rouse Warren Co. Home, officiating. Burial will follow in the Wrightsville Cemetery.
