We are now collecting items for our Easter basket raffle such as canned goods or gift cards call and we will pick them up or just drop them off at the center. The drawing will be held at the firehall bake and craft sale on April 5.

Explore Your Future workshops being held at Allegheny Community Center help you identify "what's next" and thru some dynamic activities you will learn how to create a satisfying lifestyle as time goes on. This is sponsored by Pennsylvania Department of Aging. The VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) preparers, sponsored by RSVP, continue providing their special services for the elderly, disabled and low-income residents of both Warren & Forest Counties at no cost through April 15 by appointment only. Hot lunches or light alternative lunches are available Monday-Friday at noon. You can call your reservation to 723-3237. Bistro lunch is available on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with no reservation required. Take-outs available.
The Warren-Forest Area Agency on Aging will serve the following menu at Allegheny Community Center and other Warren-Forest centers March 24-28: chicken tenders Monday; lasagna Tuesday; meatloaf Wednesday; sloppy joe Thursday; and breakfast for lunch Friday. Locations at Marienville, Sheffield, Tidioute and Endeavor will serve menus from Monday, Tuesday and Friday for the three-day sites. Eligible participation is 60 years and older with a suggested donation of $3. Call 723-3763 for information regarding congregate meal sites or center locations. Menu is subject to change.
