Berea Lutheran Church, Rt. 6 at Rt. 958, Wrightsville, will host a Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on March 4. The public is invited.
The "Peanut Gallery" Relay For Life Team will have a "Luck of the Draw" 501 dart tournament on March 1 at the Warren Eagles FOE 313. Sign up will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m., and play will begin at 6 p.m. The event fee is $10; $5 for the payout and $5 for Relay For Life/American Cancer Society. Mardi Gras dance Saturday
St. Joseph and Holy Redeemer churches will present "A Taste of Bourbon Street" Mardi Gras dance from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at St. Joseph Educational Center. AOC to ski
On Friday, Feb. 28, the Allegheny Outdoor Club (AOC) will ski the trails at the Art Roscoe Ski Area on the Allegany State Park in Cattaraugus County in New York state. Chorus plans shows
The Chautauqua Shores Chorus will be presenting two free shows for Friends & Family on two separate occasions in Chautauqua and Warren counties. The first will be at 7 p.m. Monday, March 10, at First Baptist Church, 358 E. Fifth St., Jamestown, N.Y. The second will be at 7 p.m. Monday, March 24, at Emanuel United Church of Christ, 1710 Pennsylvania Ave. E., Warren. All are welcome, and refreshments will be served.
The Chautauqua Shores practices every Monday night at 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church, using the Fifth St. entrance in Jamestown. Any woman, from any age group who loves to sing, is invited to join. The chorus sings a cappella, four-part harmony, barbershop-style music which includes gospel, patriotic, seasonal numbers, up tunes, etc. There is no requirement to read music as learning media is available.
