Warren General Hospital is pleased to announce, through the generosity of the Warren General Hospital Auxiliary, the re-opening of valet services, possibly as early as next week. In January, the auxiliary committed to fund the program for the next two years.
"The hours of operation will remain relatively consistent with the previously offered valet schedule, and we look forward to beginning the service very soon," said Holli Summerville, Warren General Hospital's Director of Patient and Public Relations.
Valet, a free service to WGH patients, offers a unique courtesy that many other regional facilities do not offer. Valet services not only support patients when they arrive at WGH by assisting them into the building and parking their vehicle, but they also offer a welcoming, kind face.
Standing, from left, are Gloria Merenick, Bonnie Casey, Nancy Davis, Sue Perrin, John Papalia (WGH CEO), Bette McAmbley, Diana Baxter (auxiliary vice president), Linda Gilson and Nora Daubenspeck; and, seated, are Linda Keverline, Kathy Keller, Gayle Mohney (auxiliary secretary), Annette Drummond (treasurer), Judy Scalise and Robbin Price.
Through various fundraisers, Warren General Hospital's Auxiliary supports many vital services the hospital offers such as the chaplaincy program, the dental clinic and the recent renovations to the Cancer Care Center. WGH is very appreciative and fortunate to receive the continued support and dedication of the Auxiliary. "The generosity they offer touches many people's lives including the WGH staff, patients and the community at large," said Warren General Hospital's CEO, John Papalia.
