Get a grip
Dan Henry gets a hold of his opponent during Warren’s match against Strong Vincent on Wednesday. Henry registered a pin, and the Dragons won 48-19 on senior night.
After Nate Park was pinned (152), Dan Henry (160) scored a pin of his own. Derek Reagle (175) then lost a 3-0 decision before three consecutive forfeit wins by Cody Gunn (182), Steven Crone (195) and Hunter Egger (220).
Alex Streich (Heavyweight) won a 4-0 decision, before Blake Ristau (120) lost a major decision to end the match.
Warren coach Glenn Baldensperger was pleased with the way his team wrestled.
"Nate (Park) came in this season around 138 and unfortunately we had eight or nine guys at that weight," Baldensperger said. "He's been wrestling up (at 152) against some good opponents, and he deserves a lot of credit for going out there and trying hard."
Baldensperger also added that "Fehlman had a solid match, and Dan Henry had a good showing on senior night."
The Dragons will take part in the Fred Bell Tournament this weekend at Grove City High School.
"We've been banged up lately," Baldensperger said. "Hopefully after we get through Grove City we'll get some guys back."

Cameron County 45, Sheffield 33
Sheffield (8-9) lost to visiting Cameron County High on senior night with a final of 45-33 Wednesday night at Sheffield High School.
Sheffield coach Jack Rice was proud of his team that had multiple pins early, including Dakota Schooler, Cody Anderson, Tanner Barr and Kyle Holden.
"You know we wrestled really well, but it's hard to win with 18 points in forfeits not in your favor," he said. "We bumped a few up (weight classes) and ended up having some real good individual matches."
