A firm representing Wal-Mart has submitted a plan for a fueling station at Warren Commons.
Warren County Zoning Officer Aaron Kalkbrenner said Daryl Terella of Passport Realty LLC in Erie submitted the plan proposing a station in an area currently occupied by Walmart parking spaces just west of Radio Shack along the north side of Commons Drive.
"Whenever you change your development plan, you have to get an updated permit," Kalkbrenner said.

In 2005, a site west of Burger King in a parcel that is currently undeveloped was approved for a fuel station.
The move does not necessarily mean a push to develop a station will happen soon. Kalkbrenner said Wal-Mart wants to confirm that the new site is acceptable before moving forward with selling the old proposed site.
A public hearing before the Warren County Zoning Hearing Board is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, at the Jackson Court Room at Warren County Courthouse.
Affected citizens may express concerns at the hearing.
Although there are no homes within 300 feet of the proposed site, Kalkbrenner said letters were sent out to residents along the boundaries of the entire Warren Commons development.
Approval, if granted, is good for one year, with an extension option out to two years.
The new site would take the place of about 125 parking spaces. The store will maintain more than the required amount of parking. Walmart currently has 933 spaces and is required to have 736, Kalkbrenner said.
