Most thinking people are aware that selfishness in our greatest fault and responsible for most misdeeds and failures. Why do not these same people recognize gambling as a major enhancement of this negative quality of life?
Is anyone playing a game of chance for a charitable benefit-except their own? It shames me as a citizen of an "advanced civilization" to hear of millions of dollars legitimately promoted as being raised through games of chance for senior citizens, education and other charitable causes at the expense of promoting selfishness-or in other words, favoring just about everything wrong in our society today? What would Jesus do?
