Nine volunteer fire departments from Warren County and New York responded to a house fire shortly before noon on Wednesday in Chandlers Valley.
No one was home at the Tami house on Brown Hill Road off of Jackson Run Road when fire broke out, and no injuries were reported, according to the Sugar Grove Volunteer Fire Department.
Firefighters said damage was limited to an upstairs bedroom.
Fire crews used a dry hydrant near Jackson Run Road to fill a portable pond past the home.
Volunteer firefighters from Sugar Grove, Wrightsville, Youngsville, North Warren, Lander, Pleasant and Starbrick responded along with firefighters from the Busti and Lakewood department in New York.
