The construction at Northwest Savings Bank in downtown Warren is nearing its conclusion, and will be finished before the end of the year.
Bob Heater of Building Systems, the general contractor for the new building, said the project is 90 percent complete overall. "The exterior is just about all done, we're in good shape," he said. "We'll definitely be done before the end of the year."
He noted that landscaping on the Pennsylvania Avenue side of the building was completed, and will be seeded with grass.
Work on backfilling the curbs was done on Friday, and all the concrete work has been completed.
"The drywalling is about 95 percent complete, and they are setting doors and countertops in the interior," he added.
Some trees will be planted in the Second Avenue sidewalk area to round out the project.
