The Wilder Museum of Warren County History will take a day to salute all Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts when uniformed Scouts will be welcomed at the museum at 51 Erie Ave., Irvine, from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9. This busy day will be full of fun activities for scouts to delve into. Guides will be in place to offer exclusive access to special exhibits and teach the fascinating facts of our area's beginnings. Rodger Shattuck and Skip Trumbull will be featured firearms curators, and guests will have the opportunity to watch a self-defense demonstration by Rick Johnson's Black Belt Academy. Jude Harter will be featured as Henry Rouse while Alex Watkins will be staffing the Seneca Room as they share true stories from our local past. This is a great one-day-only opportunity to fulfill merit badge requirements.
