Indoor garage sale
Pictured are thirty-one people from St. Luke, St. Anthony and St. Joseph Churches who made a pilgrimage to “holy” Pittsburgh on Oct. 10. While there Father John Neff, chaplain of the pilgrimage, celebrated Mass at St. Anthony Chapel containing over 5,000 authenticated relics of the saints. The group also visited the historic churches of St. Patrick and St.Stanislaus in the Strip District. Following lunch at Station Square the group continued with a fall sightseeing tour of Pittsburgh aboard the Gateway Clipper.
Saturday, Nov. 9, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. St. Anthony's Church will hold an indoor garage sale at the St. Paul Center, along with its church raffle auction. All prizes are donated by the parishioners. If you want to rent a table call the church office at 968-5915 and leave a message. Cost of a table is $10. Come and spend the day. Remember one man's trash is another man's treasure. Coffee and donuts will be available in the morning. Lunch will be available by the Knights of Columbus. The list of auction items is long and ranges in items from cash to tires to gas and lots and lots of homemade items. Tickets are available for a full sheet of 12 for $5 or 3 tickets for $2 the day of the indoor garage sale or from the parishioners of St. Anthony's church.
