A Youngsville Elementary Middle School student riding a bicycle to school was hit by a car Wednesday morning.
According to Youngsville Borough Police, the 14-year-old boy pulled into the path of a car that was westbound on Second Avenue between the school and Water Street shortly before 8 a.m.
The student was taken to Warren General Hospital for treatment of leg injuries. Police said the family reported that he was treated and released.
Youngsville volunteer firefighters and Emergycare responded to the scene.
According to police, the driver, whose name was not released, was not charged.
