Warren County Christian School’s volleyball team finished 15-0 as the New Penn Christian Conference regular-season and tournament champions, including defeating Christian Life Academy, 3-0, on Saturday in Jamestown, N.Y. WCCS lost just one set all season. Sheffield High School graduate Nick Bonavita had five tackles at safety in Juniata's 28-7 win on Saturday over Ursinus.
Eisenhower High School graduate Kelsey Repke had 20 digs for Pitt-Bradford in a 3-0 Division III women's volleyball loss at Buffalo State.
Warren Area High School graduate Ellis Beardsley was 141st out of 398 for Mount Union's women's cross country team in the Wilmington Fall Class 5K race in 20:46.99 last week in Wilmington, Ohio.
Warren Area High School graduate Katie Spade was 8th out of 155 for Penn State Behrend's women's cross country team in 24:29.4 in the 6K Inter-Region Rumble on Saturday at Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio.
Tidioute Charter graduate Loralee Lindemuth had three service points, seven kills and four digs for the Pennsylvania College of Technology's women's volleyball team in a 3-0 win last week over Penn State Worthington. She had 173 kills over the first 28 matches.
Following this weekend's win over Smethport, the Sheffield Wolverines have moved into the nine spot in D9Sports.com's District 9 football rankings. Sheffield was ranked 10th for two straight weeks before a loss to Port Allegany dropped them from the list, and Smethport was previously seventh before its loss Saturday at Sheffield High School.

Sheffield won a pair of junior high basketball games against Eisenhower on Monday afternoon, 24-13 and 28-23. In the eighth grade game, Lexi Lyon led the way with eight points for the Lady Wolverines, Myah Grubbs had seven, Isiss Pratz had five, Eliza Davidson had three, and Autumn Perry added one. For Eisenhower, Savannah McKown had six points, Haley Spicer three, and Payton Mineweaser and Sami Shelton each had two.
Lyon added another 10 points in the seventh grade game, Grubbs had eight, Perry three, Destiny Wynn three, and Pratz and Davidson each added two. Ashley VanGuilder had six points for the Knights, Cameran Edwards, Tess Morningstar, and Kiara Webber each had four, Anna McJunkin and Brielle Whitney had two apiece, and Caroline Hishman added one.
Both teams return to action on Wednesday, with Sheffield hosting Youngsville and Eisenhower welcoming Rocky Grove.
Kinzua Yeager won their fourth straight game on Sunday with a 5-0 win over Shenango Valley. Goals were scored by Sawyer Mohney, Brooklyn Neuriter, and Jessica Susz. Morgan Munksgard also netted her first goal of the season. Kyleigh Wilson, Olivia English, Alex Ferry and Shawn Duckett's outstanding defense helped to prevent Shenango Valley from generating any scoring opportunities.
