Morgan Danielson scored with just two minutes left in double overtime, off a corner kick from Kaitlin Ishman, to give Warren a 3-2 win over Bradford on Senior Night Thursday at War Memorial.
"This was a good, solid performance. We created a good amount of scoring opportunities," said Warren coach Bob Domville. "It was nice to get a win on senior night. We had another strong effort from all our seniors."
Kathryn Lobdell started the scoring for the Lady Dragons just 10 minutes into the game on a pass from Ishman.
Bradford answered quickly, but Claire Abplanalp was able to put away a free kick and Warren took a 2-1 lead into the half.
The Owls wouldn't go away quietly, netting one in the second half to tie the score. The two teams battled through nearly two full overtime periods before Danielson's goal ended the game and improved the team to 4-12 overall and 3-4 in Region 4.
Justine Lasecki earned the win in goal stopping all but two Bradford attempts.
"We were actually able to get our best eleven on the field for the first time this year, due to injuries we've had, and tonight we had a couple more go down," added Domville. "The girls played pretty well together for the time they've had as a unit, it's just unfortunate that we can't seem to get people healthy."
Warren battled Bradford to a 1-1 tie in the junior varsity contest. Hannah Raible scored the lone goal on an assist from Aubrey Greenlund.
The Lady Dragons will host Villa Maria in another Region 4 match Saturday at War Memorial Field.
