Noah Myers rushed 45 yards for the go-ahead touchdown with three minutes left in Youngsville's 32-26 come-from-behind win over Cochranton Wednesday at Youngsville High School.
Myers would rush for 248 yards and four touchdowns in all, and Aaron Morris would add a rushing touchdown and Mason Benjamin a two-point conversion for Youngsville (2-3).

Benjamin and Justin Eck were defensive standouts on the final drive at linebacker and lineman, respectively, and Myers and Dylan Burt played well defensively.
Trailing 26-20 at halftime, the defensive shut Cochranton out in the second half.
Jr. high hoops
Youngsville defeated Eisenhower Blue, 39-15, in junior high girls basketball on Wednesday. For Eisenhower, Sandra Richards had four points, Savannah McKown four, Payton Mineweaser two, Haley Spicer two, Miranda Garris two, and Sami Shelton one. For Youngsville, Caitlin Craig had 11, Christina Fischer scored one, Paige Mineweaser three, Maddi Cratty five, Alanna Hultberg 12, and Autumn Hultberg seven.
Eisenhower Gold fell to Youngsville, 26-19. For Ike, Ashlee VanGuilder had five points, Shayla Hagg four, Cameran Edwards two, Anna McJunkin two, Caroline Hishman two, Tess Morningstar two, and Brielle Whitney two. For Youngsville, Alanna Hultberg scored 12, Ireland Smith six, Erin Dunn six, Megan Foley two.
Hall of Famer
Warren native Rick Allen has been named one of seven inductees to the Slippery Rock University Athletic Hall of Fame's Class of 2013. Allen, who graduated in 1983, was a three-year starter for Slippery Rock and earned Small College All-America honor in his senior season. Allen was also named First-Team All PSAC-West, First-Team All-ECAC, First-Team Pittsburgh Post-Gazette all-district honors, and was nominated for Academic All-American honors as a senior.
Induction ceremonies are scheduled for Sept. 28 as part of The Rock's home football weekend against Mercyhurst University. Members of the 2013 class will be honored during halftime of the game.
