Helen C. Foster, age 91, formerly of 377 Weiler Road, Warren, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at Warren General Hospital. Helen was born January 29, 1922, in Warren, PA, the daughter of Victor Zephaniah and Muriel (Clark) Carlino. She was a graduate of Warren High School and later worked at Walker's Creamery, where she met her husband. When her children were grown, Helen worked at the Blair Corporation for many years until retiring. Helen was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church and was very active in the choir. She was a member of the Clemens Sunday School class. She and her husband were founding members of the Allegheny Outdoor Club. In her youth, she loved rollerskating. Later in life, she stayed active through cross country skiing, and hiking. She was a talented seamstress and also enjoyed playing piano and reading. She enjoyed traveling, and especially liked the British culture.
