EDINBORO-The Lady Dragons dropped a 4-1 decision to General McLane Thursday afternoon. Doubles pair Megan Waterfield and Sydney Ewing picked up a win with a neat 6-1, 6-0 victory over the General McLane pair of Blaney and Smith.
"This was the pair's second win this week as they also won over Central on Tuesday," said Lady Dragons' coach Jeff Bartsch.
Falling in singles were Cassie Johnson, Corie Eckman and Alexis Vavala.
The top doubles duo of Shoshanna Ochocki and Karly Taylor took the opening set 6-3, but then fell 6-4 in the second set. The third set was a back-and-forth. Despite a strong start from Warren, General McLane rebounded and won 7-5 in the third set.
The Dragons fall to 5-6 on the season and will face Villa Maria on the road next Thursday.
