Gary Evans and his partner, Andy Benson, captured the 32nd Annual Tom Taylor Member-Member Golf Tournament on Sunday at Conewango Valley Country Club. They fired a final-round, 10-under-par 61 in the two-day best ball format for a 127 total.
The teams of Bart Jensen and Jim Vecellio and Shawn Baldensperger and John Bevevino tied for second at 129.

The Warren junior varsity volleyball team won its own 10-team tournament on Saturday at Warren Area High School. The Dragons went 5-3 in pool play, splitting with Kane 19-25, 26-24, Bradford, 22-25, 25-22, and Altoona, 15-25, 25-19, and beating Oil City 2-0, 25-11, 25-12. They were the No. 2 seed out of their pool entering the playoffs. In the quarterfinals, they beat Ridgway, 25-23. In the semifinals, they beat Kane, 25-19, 25-13. Bradford beat Altoona 2-0 in the other semifinal, so they met Bradford in the finals and defeated them, 25-21, 26-24. Jennifer Daugharthy, Tori Paris, Megan Wortman and Kaitlin Sedon led the offense, while Lizzy Marsh and Haley Tuller played well at the net, and Haley Nelson, Maddie Loutzenhiser and Alexis Munksgard anchored the defense. The Kinzua U-12 boys defeated Clarion, 7-0, on Sunday in Warren. Mitch Grosch had three goals, and Caleb Lindell, Damon Navaroli, Devin Navaroli, and Tyler Gustafon one each. Assists for Kinzua were by Ryon Flatt, A.J. Seyler, the Navaroli brothers each had an assist, and Gustafson added another. Thomas Bablak, Alex Nebinski and John Page were the shutout goalies. Defensive standouts were Luke Smelko and Ben Berdine.
