Warren's girls soccer team is 1-2 after a 6-2 non-region loss to visiting Harbor Creek on Saturday at War Memorial Field.
"I the first few minutes, we had some chances," said Warren coach Bob Domville. "Amy (Castagnino) had a free kick that handcuffed the goalie and Abby (Funari) followed it, but couldn't quite get the end of it. We looked pretty good, but they got a breakaway, came down with some speed, threw the ball in front, and got a foot on it over the keeper.
(Harbor Creek) kind of settled down after that," said Domville. "We're just young and we're not settled on defense."

Summer Rosendahl (40) breaks up field for a scoring opportunity during the Lady Dragons’ loss to Harbor Creek on Saturday at War Memorial Field.
Trailing 4-0 in the second half, "the girls kept playing hard," said Domville.
After a handball call against the Lady Huskies, Morgan Danielson converted to put Warren on the board.
"We just haven't been able to get on the right end of bouncing balls," said Domville.
Sumer Rosendahl turned on the jets late to beat two defenders and the goalie for Warren's second goal in the loss.
"We have to keep working on our chemistry," said Domville. "As we get more experienced, we should be able to improve."
In a 2-1 junior varsity loss, Aldyn Poston scored Warren's goal on an assist from Claire Abplanalp.
