AIM Nationals Champs
The area White Flyer Clay Busters earned the title of 2013 Senior AIM (Academics, Integrity, Marksmanship) Grand Champions (www.shootata.com) after hitting 987 of 1000 targets, which was the highest total in any age bracket at the competition in Sparta, Ill. Colton Black and Morton finished first and second, respectively, in the Senior Division, Case finished third in the B class Senior Division, Ethan Black was second in the B class Junior Division, and McDunn got third in the A class Junior Division.

Ron Martin, of Warren, competed in the 2013 Beast of Burden 100-mile run August 17 in Lockport, N.Y. Martin finished the race in 21 hours, 32 minutes, and 18 seconds to take 10th place overall out of 51 participants, and third out of seven in the 50-to-59 year old male group.
Hannah Vile, a 2013 graduate of Sheffield High School, is one of 11 freshmen on this year's Division III Lycoming College Warriors volleyball team. Lycoming opens the 2013 season Sept. 1 at the Scranton Invitational against The Sage Colleges.
