Harassment. Warren-based state police responded to Warren State Hospital on Aug. 20 at 8:48 a.m. According to police, Gayle Downing, 29, of Warren, is accused of punching Alesha Butterfield, 18, of Warren, two times in the head. A non-traffic citation for harassment was issued through District Magistrate Laura Bauer's office.
Aggravated Asaault. Warren-based state police have issued an update to an incident reported in Monday's Times Observer. According to police reports, two men, Gerard Caribardi, of Wilcox and David Boylan, of Johnsonburg, were involved in a verbal argument at Wolf Run Marina on Aug. 17. The situation escalated into a verbal argument and Boylan struck Carbardi with his fist, causing injuries that required transport to Hamot Medical Center in Erie. Police report on Aug. 19, a warrant was issued for David Boylan. He was located in Kane and transported to Warren for arraignment in front of District Magistrate Laura Bauer. Bail was set at $10,000 and the accused was committed to Warren County Jail.
Theft. Warren-based state police report sometime between Aug. 19 and Aug. 20, someone removed a blue, plastic, 5 gallon gasoline container valued at $16.80 from a Pittsfield residence. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police in Warren or Warren County Crimestoppers at 1-800-83-CRIME.
Public Drunkenness. Cheryl Mayes, 35, of Youngsville was taken into custody by Youngsville Police for public drunkenness on Aug. 8 at approximately 3:15 p.m. after officers found her passed out on Water St. A motorist passing through Youngsville observed the female passed out and reported it to police. Mayes was taken before District Magistrate Cynthia Lindemuth and sent to the Warren County Jail.
