Joe Buccola has been around dirt track racing his entire life, with his father racing for 20 years and ending up in the Super Late Model division. When Joe started racing, he used his father’s old car number — 5B. Buccola, racing for seven years with six in the Sportsman division, now drives the 5B car in the Crate Late Model divisions at Stateline Speedway and Eriez Speedway. Buccola had 21 feature wins and four track championships combined at Stateline in Eriez while in the Sportsman, so he’s looking to continue that success in a new division. Buccola is the Times Observer Driver of the Week, sponsored by Davies & Sons.
