Hallie Dubia's 45 was the nine-hole low gross and Betsy Senger's 38 was the nine-hole low net in this week's Conewango Valley Country Club Ladies Golf League.
Dubia shot an 86 for the18-hole low gross and Senger shot a 73 for the 18-hole low net in Flight 1. In Flight 2, Sally Steele shot a 51 for the nine-hole low gross and Janeal Hedman shot a 34 for the low net. Debbie Vecellio and Nancy Shattuck had the low gross and low net in Flight 3 with a 61 and 42, respectively.

In June, the Eisenhower Mat Club hosted a three-day wrestling camp with the coaching staff of Lock Haven University. Sugar Grove American Legion Post 758 donated $1,000 to help cover the costs of the camp. The NRA is holding a basic pistol course from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 10 and 11 from at the Kalbfus Gun Club. A $70 pre-registration fee is required, and participants must attend both days. All Warren Area High School student-athletes planning to participate in a fall sport need to have the following items in order to take part in the first day of fall practices on August 12: a completed physical packet signed by a physician; a completed and signed HIPPA form; a completed and signed SCA form; a check made out to the WCSD for $50, and; a check made out to WAHS for $25.
All interested Warren Area High School football players in grades 9 to 12 are asked to report to the wrestling room at the high school at 5 p.m. Monday for a meeting and distribution of equipment and pre-season schedules.

The Youngsville Boys and Girls Track Club will be hosting a "Color Me Corny" 5K run and walk on Saturday, Aug. 27, at Youngsville High School. Various color stations will be set up throughout the course where participants will be sprayed with bright colors. There is an entry fee of $20 prior to Aug. 10, or a $25 fee the day of the race.
