Bricks, windows, drywall.
The construction of the new Northwest Savings Bank building on Pennsylvania Avenue in Warren is, "rapidly coming together," Bob Heater of general contractor Building Systems Inc. said on Tuesday.
Bricks covered a majority of the outside of the building on Tuesday and that work will be finished soon by Gillette Masonry of Edinboro. About 110,000 bricks will cover the outside of the building when finished.

Like a ton of bricks
A worker from Gillette Masonry of Edinboro uses a loader to lift a load of bricks to the Second Avenue side of the new Northwest Savings Bank building in Warren.
"We started putting the windows in the other day," Heater said.
Glass Erectors Inc. of Reynoldsville is installing the windows.
The work is not limited to the exterior.
"They're already hanging drywall," Heater said.
The drywall in the fourth floor is almost complete. That work will move downward to the third floor.
Next comes the exterior stone work.
A layer of accent stone will cover the top eight feet of the building. Heater said the crane needed for that work is expected on Monday.
The roof of the building cannot be finished until the stone is in place.
The target completion date for the project is early November.
