July 16, 2013
The Times Observer

New hose bed covers for Starbrick Volunteer Fire Department's engines 521 and 523 were custom made by Amish craftsmen. The covers are waterproof, and will protect the hoses from environmental damage, thereby keeping them new for a longer period of time, according to Don First, vice president of Starbrick VFD. The Amish took the measurments, made the covers and installed them for $300.
