Blair earned its second Senior American Legion win over Youngsville Post 658 this week, by a score of 10-2 Thursday, at Old Legion Field in North Warren. After downing Youngsville on Monday and with Thursday's win, Blair improves to 3-6 on the year while Youngsville falls to 6-6 overall.

Carter Cerra started the scoring in the first inning with a double that drove in a pair of runs and Derek Reagle followed up with an RBI single to give his team a 3-0 advantage. Blair tacked on three more in the third on RBI singles from Cerra and Collin DeLattre and Reagle scored on a passed ball to take a 6-0 lead before Post 658 got on the board in the top of the fourth.
Matt Hultquist knocked in Blair's final four runs, one on a single in the bottom of the fourth and three more on a base-clearing triple in the sixth. Youngsville's Kyle Hunt blasted a triple of his own in the top of the sixth and scored on a passed ball for his team's second run of the game.
Jason Stanton earned the win for Blair after taking the mound in the third, fourth, and fifth innings. Tyler Bradley started the game and threw two innings, and Sage Anderson and Eddie Ord worked an inning each to close the game out for the home team. Caleb Linkerhof paced the Youngsville offense with a pair of hits while Stanton, Hultquist, and Cerra had two hits each for Blair.
Post 658 will head into a best-of-three series against Corry Northwest Savings Bank starting this weekend to determine the second representative in the Area 8 tournament. Post 135 wrapped up the top spot with a 10-1 record, and was undefeated before a forfeit to Corry on Thursday.
