Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one vehicle accident at the intersection of Center St. and Brown Ave. at 2:07 a.m. on June 23. According to police, Jason Seybert, 35, of Warren, was traveling west on Center St. and attempting to turn north onto Brown Ave. when he lost control of his 2005 Honda TRX450R. The vehicle rolled onto its right side in the middle of the intersection. Seybert sustained major injuries and was transported to UPMC Hamot in Erie by helicopter. His passenger, Kara Wagner, 28, of Warren was transported to Warren General Hospital for treatment of her injuries. Neither were wearing seatbelts. Seybert was charged with DUI. Clarendon VFD assisted at the scene.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on July 4 at 7:15 a.m. on Rt. 69 just south of Yankee Bush Rd. According to police, Shawn Bigelow, 43, of Warren, was traveling south on Rt. 69 behind a vehicle driven by Jeffrey Reagle, 42, of Sugar Grove. Police said Reagle slowed down for an Amish buggy traveling in the southbound lane. Bigelow failed to maintain proper speed causing his vehicle to strike the trailer being towed by Reagle. According to reports, Bigelow sustained minor injuries. Reagle and his four passesngers were uninjured in the accident. Everyone was using safety devices. Reagle's vehicle was towed from the scene by Koebley Towing.
