Dorothy M. Doyle, 91, a resident of the Rouse Warren County Home, died Wednesday morning, July 3, 2013 at 10:55 a.m. after a brief illness. She was born at home in Sheffield, PA. on December 11, 1921 to the late Gilbert E. and Mabel Irene Jones Hanson. She was a lifelong Sheffield area resident. Dorothy was a longtime salesclerk with the former Culbertson 10 Cent Store and Brewsters Variety Store retiring from there. She was known as the "Candy Lady". Dorothy was of the Lutheran faith. She was a devoted daughter, mother and grandmother, who was always a caregiver. Her family was the center of her life.
