An early lead wasn't enough for Blair to down Corry Northwest Savings Bank on Wednesday afternoon, as it dropped to 1-3 overall in Warren County Senior American Legion play after a 5-4 loss at Old Legion Field in North Warren.
Corry was able to erase a four-run deficit to tie the game in the top of the sixth, and took the lead in the seventh on an RBI double from Will Gerould that scored the eventual game-winner.
It was all Blair early on, as Matt Hultquist jump started the offense in the first inning with an RBI single to score Collin Fantaskey for the first run of the game. Tanner Teconchuk made it two with a sacrifice fly that brought in John White, and Hultquist came around to score when a groundball off the bat of Sage Anderson was misplayed, giving his team a 3-0 lead after one. Teconchuk notched his second RBI of the game in the third inning, doubling in Hultquist for a 4-0 advantage.
