Criminal mischief. Conewango Township police reportedthat on June 8 at 1 a.m., police were dispatched to a residence on Cook Street for a report of a suspicious person walking around in the back yard with a flashlight. Upon arrival, police met with Mary Anne Wolford and she reported that she saw a person walking around in her backyard and found that someone had stabbed a hole into the backside of her pool, causing damage. Anyone with information is asked to contact the township police or call the Warren Couty Crime Stoppers.
Burglary. State police are investigating a burglary at a Deerfield Township residence on Tidioute Creek Road that reportedly took place between 12:30 p.m. Saturday and 12:35 p.m. Sunday. Police said someone tried to gain access through a door of the residence.
Theft. Police are investigating the theft of a Kindle Fire HD that was taken from a girl's backpack during school on May 28.
Identity theft. Police are investigating a reported case of identity theft from February 2012, in which someone reportedly used personal information of a Warren man to obtain credit to pay for goods and services.
Mischief. Police are searching for the person who damaged a window of a tractor between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Saturday on Danielson Road, Pittsfield Township. Anyone with information is asked to contact Warren-based state police.
