The new Sheetz in North Warren will open in a made-to-order location by the end of June.
"We're right on schedule," said Dave Hazlet, Sheetz director of real estate. "The store is scheduled to open June 27."

Made to order, almost
Workers from Blair Sign Company install a new sign for Sheetz on Market Street Extension in North Warren on Friday. The store is set to open on Thursday, June 27.
"The construction group typically tries to get everything done and completed...about two weeks prior to opening," Hazlet said. The site is then turned over to Sheetz so displays and other finishing touches can be put in the interior of the store.
Then during the last week the store is filled with products and Hazlet said the company invites some local residents or employees into the store before opening.
"It gives our people a chance to practice," said Hazlet.
Sheetz is still looking to fill a number of positions at the store, Hazlet said, with a new store typically employing 40 people, 60 percent of which are full-time and part-time employees working anywhere between 20 to 30 hours a week.
The 6,500-square-foot all brick site has 14 fueling stations, and indoor and outdoor dining.
G & R Excavating Demolition from Tyrone started removing abandoned mobile homes and a building at the site last September.
Workers from Kingsview Paving cleared the site of debris and trees and laid foundation in early January. Three 10,000-gallon fuel storage tanks arrived at the work site in mid-January.
