Post 135 improved its Senior American Legion Baseball League record to 2-0 on Monday, defeating Blair, 10-1, in the first meeting of the two Warren squads at Old Legion Field.
Post 135 struck first in the top of the third inning when second baseman Matt Jaskolka singled home Tanner Stanz and Hank Morrison, and eventually scored himself to take an early 3-0 lead.
Blair's Tanner Teconchuk and Jason Stanton led off the bottom half of the inning with a pair of walks, and Teconchuk tagged up and advanced to third on a deep fly ball by Matt Hultquist. Teconchuk was awarded home on a balk by Morrison, giving his team their first - and last - run of the game.

Post added four more runs in the fifth inning, beginning with an RBI single from Stanz. Another passed ball allowed Jake Retterer to score, and Morrison ripped a two-RBI double to give the visitors a 7-1 advantage. Stanz gave his team a little insurance in the seventh with an RBI triple that scored Austin Schwanke, and Morrison and Todd Fasenmyer added RBI singles for runs nine and 10 of the evening.
Morrison earned the win on the mound for Post 135, going five innings while allowing just one run and racking up nine strikeouts. Stanz and Retterer pitched an inning each to close out the game, each with two strikeouts.
Collin Fantaskey took the loss for Blair (0-2) after working four innings and allowing three runs. Stanton, Sage Anderson and John White combined to finish the game with one inning each on the hill.
Blair fell to Corry Northwest Savings Bank, 3-1, on Saturday. Carter Cerra threw six innings, allowing just one earned run for Blair.
