Down three runs in the final inning, United Refining scored four times for a 5-4 Boys Majors win over Truck-Lite on Monday.
Caleb Ei had an RBI single and Drew Swanson a two-run single to tie the score at 4-4. Gavan Lavan came through with the clutch single to score the winning run.
Swanson and Ei had two hits each for United, and Nick Hussey pitched four tough innings, giving up four runs on three hits while striking out 10. Mitchell Grosch pitched the fourth and fifth innings to earn the win.

Tommy Nyquist had an unassisted double play and caught a line drive to make all three outs in the first inning for Results Rehab in a Boys Training game.
Inscale Architects defeated Anderson Construction, 18-10, in a Girls Minors game on Monday. For Inscale, Braydn Wilson struck out five hitters in two innings while only allowing two runs. Jena Wilson had a two-run double and Addie Werth added a triple in the win. For Anderson Construction, Kayla Hecei went 2-for-3, and Kassidy Turner struck out five in two innings pitched.
Jamo Douvlos and Zach Rohlin were each 3-for-3, helping Jock Shop to a Boys Minors victory over Exchange Club on Saturday.
Ryan Rafalski threw 3 2/3 scoreless innings, striking out 10 batters, and relievers Max Conklin and Bryce Blair struck out another seven hitters in their combined 2 2/3 innings of work in Wells Fargo Advisors' Boys Minors win over Whirley on Saturday. Blair had three hits for the winners with Conklin, Justice Greene and Alex Zariczny adding two hits each. Teagan Gray had two hits for Whirley.
Ben Berdine had a heck of a Boys Minors game for MWR Construction, also on Saturday. Berdine had three hits, including two doubles, had an unassisted double play at first base, and combined with Christopher McCauley and Micah Passmore to strike out eight of the 12 outs in a one-hit win. Passmore added two hits, including a triple, and Matthew Rowen had a two-RBI hit in a six-run second for MWR.
Derek Hahn and Ben Salapek combined for 12 strikeouts and gave up only three hits for Warren Fence against Dairy Queen on Saturday afternoon. Ben White and Hunter Harding had two hits each for Warren Fence.
