Attendees, instructors and volunteers at the annual Women's Outdoor Workshops! (WOW!) held Saturday at Chapman State Park totalled over 230.
This was the first summer event offered by the newly-formed Northern Allegheny Outdoor Women's Association, and featured 28 classes throughout the state park and adjacent state gamelands.
Attendees could choose from shooting sports, Dutch oven cooking, bird watching, kayaking, fishing to new offerings such as Abstracting with Nature, Basic Outdoor First Aid and Wild Edibles.
