Warren Weekly Times July 7, 1910:
Monument To General Warren And Warren County Heros Dedicated
Fine Weather Helped Greatly to Make the Event a Grand Success
"Tidioute Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution are today resting on their laurels, enjoying a well-earned rest, reviewing the work of eighteen months, and congratulating themselves uon the eminent success attending efforts. Warren has had a sane Fourth, ole long to be remembered, despite the absence of undue noise, of popping firecrackers and of various other accompaniment supposedly necessary to the proper observance of the day. This Fourth is one for Warren long to remember because it marks the formal presentation to the town of a monument which will long stand to attest the patriotism, loyalty, public spirit and civic pride of the people of the county."
