PAUL MUTZABAUGH

Paul L. Mutzabaugh, 86, formerly of Warren, passed away Sunday, May 19 in Strongsville, Ohio. He was born on February 14, 1927 in Altoona PA, son of Ralph and Lorraine Shepherd Mutzabaugh. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen Christy Mutzabaugh. At the end of World War II he served in the US Navy on the troop transport ship U.S.S. Meigs, bringing soldiers home from the European and AsiaticPacific theaters. He held degrees in biology and education from the Pennsylvania State University and the University of Pittsburgh. He taught in the Warren City schools for 42 years. He will be remembered as a creative, devoted educator who inspired many young minds. He is survived by his son Andrew and his wife Piyanush of Los Angeles CA, his daughter Mary Olson and husband Aaron of Strongsville, OH, and two grandchildren, Molly and David Olson. According to his wishes, there will be a private memorial and burial. Memorial Donations may be made to the Warren Public Library.
