I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who was involved in the rescue efforts after my car accident on April 8th.
I can't begin to tell you how grateful I am for the bystander who made sure my children got out okay and held a t-shirt up to my injured head.
To the woman who held my neck in place, kept me conscious, and talked me through the whole extraction, your calmness, patience, and care got me out of that terrible mess. (P.S. sorry if I called you a liar when you told me my kids where alright each time that I asked)
I was happy to hear that the man I hit was not injured and touched to learn that he actually left his vehicle to help everyone else get me out of mine.
For all of the other service men and women, volunteer and professional, I cannot thank you enough for saving my life that day. I can remember fuzzy details of other's individual actions, but that whole team is responsible for me being able to write this letter.
Also, the support, prayers, and encouragement my family and I have received from relatives, friends, acquaintances, and complete strangers has been completely overwhelming and awe-inspiring. Thank you all so very much.
