J. Ross Alexander, 76, of Robinson Township, Pa., passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013. A former longtime resident of Warren, Pa., Ross was born in Chicago, Ill. to Lucille and John E. Alexander. He served in the United States Air Force's 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron (Hurricane Hunters) as an Aircraft Electronic Navigation Equipment Repairman. He attended Valparaiso University in Indiana, where he studied Biology and Geology. He worked as a Field Engineer for Westinghouse Electric Corporation for over 31 years, retiring in 1996. He spent the first eight years of his retirement in Charleston, SC, and then moved to Robinson Township, Pa. so that he could spend more time with his beloved children and grandchildren.
