Accident. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Route 6, west of Mead Run Road, at 9:28 a.m. Sunday. According to police, a 2010 Ford Fusion operated by Jessica Johnson, 30, Sugar Grove, pulled from a parking lot into the path of a 1999 Ford Explorer operated by Albert Gentile, 85, Youngsville. Police said both operators were wearing seat belts and were not injured. Johnson was charged with vehicle entering roadway.
Harassment. Warren-based state police were called to Warren State Hospital for a reported harassment incident at 5:50 a.m. Sunday. According to police, Justina Robison, 31, Warren, struck Mark Labesky, 48, Kane, in the face. Police said Robison was cited for harassment and will answer the charge before District Justice Laura Bauer.
Harassment. Warren-based state police were called to Warren State Hospital for a reported harassment incident at 6:30 p.m. May 4. According to police, Justina Robison, 31, Warren, bit a 49-year-old female of Warren on the left wrist causing cuts and marks. Police said a harassment charge against Robison has been filed through District Justice Laura Bauer's office.
Hit and run. Warren-based state police said a southbound vehicle, operated by an unknown driver, went off Route 62 at Log Cabin Lane between midnight and 6:30 a.m. May 3, struck a street sign and then a mailbox. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.
Charged. Warren-based state police said Lawrence Devereaux, 48, was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop at 5:15 p.m. Saturday on Route 6 and its intersection with Morrison Run Road. According to police, after Devereaux was arrested for DUI officers found a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on him. Police said Devereaux was charged with possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, DUI and other traffic violations.
Harassment. Warren-based state police said a 15-year-old juvenile male was charged with harassment following an incident at Allegheny Valley Elementary School's parking lot at 8 p.m. May 1. According to police, the 15-year-old juvenile grabbed a nine-year-old juvenile male by the neck and threw him to the ground. Police said a charge of harassment was filed with District Justice Laura Bauer's office.
Pine Grove Twp.
Theft. A 51-year-old male and a 51-year-old female, both of Norris Drive, Russell, reported to Warren-based state police that someone used their joint credit card to make an unauthorized purchase online at 12:30 p.m. May 3.
Theft. A 59-year-old male from Pleasant Township reported to Warren-based state police that between midnight and noon on April 30 someone took a six-inch round by 15-feet long steel casing from a driveway on Pineville Road. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.
Spring Creek Twp.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a motorcycle crash in which two people were injured at 12:50 p.m. Sunday on Old Route 77 at Beck Road. According to police, David Reagle, 59, Bear Lake, lost control while negotiating a right-hand curve. Police said he was transported by medical helicopter to an Erie hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. His passenger, Virginia Brown, 47, Youngsville, was treated at the scene for minor injuries. The state police were assisted at the scene by Spring Creek volunteer firefighters and Corry Ambulance.
Sugar Grove Twp.
Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police are seeking a person, described as approximately 5'7" and wearing an orange shirt, blue jeans and a black hat, who was seen running from a fire that was set near a driveway on Sanity Lane at approximately 10:20 p.m. on May 2. Police said fires were also set at 3:04 and 3:30 p.m. the same day. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.
