Love Ansel Adam's iconic landscape photographs?
Think you can capture the decisive moment like Henri Cartier-Bresson?
The Warren Public Library, for the fifth year, is sponsoring a teen photography contest. This event is for teens in grades 7-12 who are Warren County residents. The person entering the contest must take the photos and each contestant is limited to two entries. The photos may be in black and white or color and may be 4x6, 5x7, or 8x10 in size. Each photo must be matted but framing is optional. Each photo must have an accompanying entry form (these will be available at the Warren Public Library and on the library's web page) and all entries must be received no later than Saturday, May 25th.
The photos will be judged based on quality, originality and creativity. All the entries will be displayed in the Gallery at the Warren Public Library during the month of June where the public will be invited to cast a ballot for their favorite photograph. The winning photos will appear on the Warren Public Library website (www.warrenlibrary.org).
Amazon Gift Card prizes will be awarded as follows: first place $100; second place $75; third place $50; fourth place $25; and a $25 People's Choice Award, based on the results of the public casting their vote in he gallery.
