Warren’s No. 1, Shane Burns, slams a backhand during the Dragons’ 5-0 win over Sharon on Tuesday at Betts Courts.
"This was a challenging match and it was a good tester for our boys," said Warren coach Jeff Bartsch. "This will help our guys in tomorrows' Tri-County Tournament."
Ylli Bakalli and Liam Boger won, 6-0, 6-1, to complete the team sweep.
In exhibition doubles play, first-year player Max Gross and senior Alex Bailey played a "great doubles match with the opponents' number-two team and defeated Sharon by an 8-6 score," said Bartsch. "This is the best Max and Alex have ever played. It was impressive."
