Harry Todd White Sr., 85, went to be with Jesus on April 5, 2013. He was born June 5, 1927, in New Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, to the late Charles Harold White and Tillie Frances Hepler. He served in the US Army on board a Navy mine sweeper in the Pacific Theatre.
Harry worked at Warren State Hospital and also for Blackstone Corporation in Jamestown, NY for 39 years. He worked construction, including projects building brick roads in Warren, Pa.; and working a short time for Betts Industries. He farmed and cared for the 98 acre farm, where he and Frances raised their five children. He loved his John Deere tractors, gardening, caring for his cows, hunting small game, providing wood from his woodlot, riding bicycle, boating, camping, traveling and making improvements on the home he and Frances shared. He and Frances enjoyed over a decade of winter stays in DeLeon Springs, Florida. Harry loved his family, sharing with everyone his wonderful sense of humor.
Harry is survived by his wife of 63 years, Frances Marie (Brown) White, whom he married December 24, 1949; his five children: Debra White Passinger, and her husband, Dave, Russell, Pa., Harry Todd White, Jr., and his wife, Sue, Ballwin, Mo., Barbara White Clark, and husband, David, Sugar Grove, Pa., Paula White Roney, and husband, Michael, Warren, Pa. and Randall White (Lisa) of Lander, Pa.; 11 grandchildren and 17 greatgrandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Dean White, and wife, Jackie, Warren, Pa.; and two sisters, Evalyn White Churchill, Waterford, Pa. and Thelma White, Warren, Pa.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Theodore Charles White of Warren, Pa.; and his brotherinlaw, Lee Churchill.
Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penna. Ave. E., Warren, on Sunday, April 7, 2013 from 2 to 5 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the Lander United Methodist Church, 5582 Rt. 957, Russell, on Monday, April 8 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Wade Barto, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell, Pa.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Friends of the Rouse, 701 Rouse Avenue, Youngsville, PA 16371, where Harry had resided for nearly two years.
