The Victory Belles will kick-off the Warren County 66th Annual July 4th Celebration with a nostalgic journey through World War II-era musical classics at the American Legion in Warren on Wednesday, July 3, at 7 p.m. On July 4, the group will fill the pre-parade show with a spirited performance of 1940s tunes like "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy," "Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree" and "Chattanooga Choo-Choo." Special bleacher seating will be available.
The celebration will also include the parade with its theme: Celebrating Our Red, White and Blue and headed by the Veteran's Walk. Many favorite marching units are returning for this year's festivities. The July 4th Committee is busy planning many activities including a flotilla down the Allegheny River headed by the Allegheny Outdoor Club, an evening concert presented by the Ozone Rangers, and the popular fireworks display by Starfire Corporation.
Volunteers, parade participants and vendors are encouraged to enroll early. For more information, visit www.warrenpajuly4th.com.
