Dear editor:
I see in today's front page that WGH and the YMCA are appealing it's tax exempt status. I always had insurance, however I know many families don't. Some are working full time, but have to wait 90 days for coverage.
My insurance pays and the hospital accepts $700.00 for a $3000.00 MRI. I know of no uninsured person that WGH has lowered their bill.
The YMCA provides low cost swimming lessions, yet again I know of noone getting free membership. All of us pay taxes and these two entities need to step up and pay their share.
