4H gears up for annual Kiwanis presentations

March 1, 2013
The Times Observer

The Kiwanis Club of Warren will host county 4-H'ers at the 25th annual Kiwanis 4-H Presentations. On March 9, several 4-H members will present speeches at the Jefferson DeFrees Family Center in Warren. The presentations will begin at 10 a.m. This is an excellent opportunity for Warren County 4-H members to organize their thoughts and share information they have learned in their clubs or information that has great interest to them. The Kiwanis 4-H Presentation is just one way 4-H members learn how to become confident public speakers. The program will be a precursor for Pennsylvania 4-H Week March 17-23.

Warren County 4-H members are encouraged to sign up by Monday, March 5, by contacting the Penn State Extension office in Warren County at 563-9388. To learn more about the Warren County 4-H program, visit extension.psu.edu/warren.

The 4-H program is a youth development program of Penn State Extension. It is open to all youth between the ages of 8 and 18.
