There's a little bit of everything from the five county wrestlers headed to the Northwest Region Class AA Tournament Friday and Saturday in Sharon.
From one freshman and one senior and three in between, Eisenhower freshman Louie Head is the only one to start out with an opponent he's seen before. Head has beaten his 145-pound first-round opponent, Conneaut's Talor Ellis, twice this season, including at last weekend's District 10 Class AA Championships.
"Louie's more than confident," said Eisenhower coach Kiel Woodburn, who is hoping both Head and senior teammate Jake Johnson advance to the PIAA Tournament. The top three from each weight class advance on Saturday.

Heading to regions
Eisenhower freshman Louie Head, bottom, wrestles on Saturday at the District 10 Class AA Championships at Sharon High School. Head, and four others from the county, will be back there on Friday and Saturday for the Northwest Region Class AA Tournament, with an opportunity to advance to states.
Johnson finished third at 195 pounds at districts.
"You look at Jake for him to come through like he did Saturday morning, and win those back-to-back-to-back," said Woodburn. "Like I told him tonight, he's the most mentally prepared for this weekend than he's ever been in his entire career. The mental part is the (most important aspect). Hopefully, we can make history with a freshman, and continue with Jake's eventual goal (of making it to states)."
The winner of Head (24-12), sixth at districts, and Ellis (30-7) will meet District 9 champion Zach Vroman (26-4) of Brookville in the quarterfinals.
Two-time qualifier Johnson (28-8) has 103 career wins and meets District 9 runner-up Taylor Cudworth (27-7) of Brookville for the first time in the quarterfinals.
Youngsville also advances two wrestlers - junior Jaykup Durlin (again) at 220 pounds and junior Stone Sivak at 182.
Neither have wrestled their first-round opponents. Durlin (29-8), who has 74 career high school wins, meets Fairview's Ryan Cardman (22-11). Sivak (24-13) wrestles Hickory's Joe Hines (28-7).
"The way we've been looking at it is one match at a time," said Youngsville coach Scott Ishman. Durlin was fourth at districts, and Sivak sixth. "Jake's already been (to regions) once and knows what to expect, but Jake and Stone have been working with each other all year. The bigger guys have to wrestle the bigger guys. It's nice to see them push each other, and being down there (in Sharon) is going to help. That's been our goal; we've talked about all year, getting further than we did last year."
A returning regional qualifier, Sheffield junior Ricky Prosen (20-12), fourth at District 9, faces an opponent he's never faced before at 120 pounds. He wrestles Slippery Rock's Dave Huselton (27-7) in the opening match.
Prosen wants to open some eyes, much like he did when he was unseeded in the District 9 Tournament and battled to four straight wins in the wrestlebacks to qualify for regionals.
None of the five are among the predicted top three at their weight class, according to Dan Albaugh at www.districttenwrestling.com.
That didn't stop Prosen last week.
"Ready to go," he said.
