Bad check. Warren-based state police reported that at 6 p.m. on Feb. 12, Nicholas K. Bennett, 27, Pittsfield, wrote a check for $71.52 from a closed account to PVI in Youngsville. Charges were filed before District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth.
Theft. Warren-based state police reported that between 12:01 a.m. on Dec. 15 and 12 a.m. on Feb. 22, someone trespassed on the property of a known male, 48, Warren, in the area of Old State Road and Forestry Road 625, and stole a large antique gas engine with an estimated value of $3,000. Anyone with information is asked to call the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Disorderly conduct. Warren-based state police reported that at 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 25 at 390 Pulfer Hill Rd., Pittsfield, Nicholas K. Bennett was charged with one count of disorderly conduct after several warnings by neighbors to quiet down. Police said Bennett was witnessed by troopers making a public inconvenience and loud noise in the middle of the night.
Lost/found property. According to Youngsville Borough police, on Feb. 25, a Youngsville resident found a small purse lying in the alley of IOOF Street. The purse was taken to the police department, where it can be claimed by 563-7555.
