Dear editor:
To offer a point of clarification between pedophilia and homosexuality: Pedophilia describes sexual behavior by an adult - whether heterosexual or homosexual - towards a child of either gender. Therefore, there are heterosexual pedophiles as well as homosexual pedophiles. Pedophilia is no more an inherent expression of homosexuality than an inherent expression of heterosexuality.
