100 hellos

February 11, 2013
The Times Observer

Cooper Groves, who suffers from mitochondrial disease, participated in 100th day of school activities at South Street Early Learning Center on Friday by using his iPad to greet 100 students and faculty members. Teacher Lori West set up the iPad as a means of communication as Grove is non-verbal. Pictured are: Grove aided by teacher Caryl Decker saying hello to Jani Ickert, front, and Finn Ordiway, back, while student Kayleigh Howard keeps track of how many people Groves greeted.
