Freshmen hoops
Warren used a balanced scoring attack to beat Oil City, 58-32, on Tuesday in freshmen boys basketball at Oil City.
Devin Nowacki had 12 points for Warren, Evan Suppa 10, Ryan Skerda eight, Jason Waterfield seven, Sheldon McMeans and Andrew Gignac six each, Logan Galloway four, Will Bablak three and Mark Reiff two.

Belt promotions
After a 90-minute test of skills, knowledge and attitude, several students of Johnson’s Black Belt Academy were recently promoted to new belt ranks. Those include, front row, Jeff Anderson and Greg Flagella, testing board, Marcus Epp (Yellow/Black), Rick Johnson, instructor and William Epp (Yellow/Black).
